Top Five tips for healthy eating and healthier choices

Have the right amount of calories for how active you are, so that you can make balance the energy you consume. If you drink or eat too over, you'll gain weight or if you compromise with your food then you'll lose weight. So, have a wide range of foods to ensure that you're having a healthy and balanced diet.

In this blog, I am going to share some tips and regarding the following questions.

How to manage a balanced diet?

How much we have to eat?

How many calories do we need?


It is advised that men have around 2,500 calories and women should 2,000 calories a day. Most adults are having more calories then they need.

So, the following five key points will help you manage your balance diet:-


1: Don't skip breakfast

  Few people use to skip their breakfast, because they think it will help them to reduce weight. In fact, the study shows that who regularly have first meal of the day are less likely to be overweight.

  Breakfast has also been shown to have good effects on kids' mental performance and increase their concentration throughout the morning.

  A healthy breakfast is an important section of a balanced diet and provides vitamins and minerals we need for good health. So, having a whole grain, less sugar with fruit sliced the top is tasty and nutritious breakfast.

2: Drink water and do not get thirsty 

 We need to drink plenty of fluids to prevent us from getting dehydrated, according to the health experts we should drink 6-8 glasses every day. All non-alcoholic drinks are counts, water and less fat milk are healthier choices.

Moreover, try to avoid sugary and fizzy drinks that are high in added sugars and calories, and very dangerous for teeth.


3: Have less salt - 6g of the day is enough for adults.

 Eating too much salt can raise your blood pressure and it is very harmful to your heart. About three-quarters of salt, we eat from our dealy food, such as breakfast cereals, soups, bread, and sauces. So, whenever you buy the food from the market then take care of the labels it will help to cut down.


4: Cut down on bad fat and sugar

  Our body recorded some fat in our diet, but it's very important to set check to the amount and type of fat we're eating There are two types of fat: saturated and unsaturated. Too much-saturated fat can increase the number of calories in the blood, which will increase your risk of developing heart disease.

The average man should have less than 30g saturates fat and women should have no more than 20g a day. Moreover, childer should have less than adults.

 Saturated fat is found in many foods, such as:

hard cheese

cakes

biscuits

sausages

cream

butter

lard

pies.

5: Have plenty of fruit and vegetables

   It's recommended that we eat at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit and veg every day. It's easier than it sounds.

   Sugar-free 100% fruit juice, vegetable juice, and smoothies can only ever count as a maximum of one portion of your five a day. For instance, if you have two glasses of fruit juice and a smoothie in one day, that still only counts as one portion.
